As the producer representing Google, in collaboration with SportBible, I facilitated delivery of a major World Cup activation for Google Pixel 7 that brought the excitement of the football tournament home to UK fans.
We partnered with Boxpark Wembley to create Google Pixel's most immersive experiential presence to date. I supported the coordination and delivery of branded content, live filming and the on-site activations themselves, working closely with creators and tech teams to bring Pixel 7's features to life, with a focus on the hero features for the launch - Real Tone, Magic Eraser and Live Translate.
We captured authentic fan experiences using 30 Google Pixel 7 phones installed across the venue and delivered live editorial content across SportBible's channels. The campaign drew over 16,000 attendees, 1,900 on-the-ground handset interactions, and generated 44 million impressions.
This groundbreaking partnership transformed Boxpark Wembley into an incredible Google Pixel 7 experiential zone and officially made Google the '2022 World Cup's Most Viewed Tech Brand.' The content performed amazingly well across TikTok, Instagram and in the press. We were also ecstatic to win a Campaign Brand Leadership award in the Telecoms category.
